SiMa.ai and FUJISOFT Sign MOU to Accelerate Physical AI Deployment in Japan
Collaboration unlocks new real time, industry leading AI solutions for the Japanese market
SAN JOSE, Calif. and Yokohama, Japan — March 31, 2026 — SiMa.ai, a leader in Physical AI, today announced a strategic collaboration with FUJISOFT, one of Japan’s leading embedded systems integrators (SIs), to bring next-generation AI capabilities directly to the edge for Japanese enterprises. The engagement aims to accelerate the adoption of Physical AI solutions across key industries, helping organizations bring intelligent edge applications to market more efficiently. As part of this effort, FUJISOFT will showcase two generative AI demonstrations featuring retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) at the Embedded, Edge & IoT Development Expo in Japan from April 8 – 10, 2026.
Under the collaboration, FUJISOFT will develop proof-of-concept (POC) solutions built on SiMa.ai’s Modalix architecture and use these demonstrations to help customers evaluate and deploy Physical AI applications. Providing both hardware and software development support for organizations seeking to implement AI-enabled products, this engagement will drive development across targeted end markets throughout Japan.
